About Mark Cohen

Mark Cohen has published academic-type articles in academic-type journals such as American Jewish History, Turkish Studies Assn. Bulletin, Midstream, Saul Bellow Journal, Modern Judaism, History of Photography, and Journal of Jewish Studies. He has lectured at New York’s Center for Jewish History, Indiana University, and other venues. He is the author of Last Century of a Sephardic Community: The Jews of Monastir, 1839-1943.
